  When purchasing home we were asked to get home insurance quotes. And we did. We gave all the information of the new property, the list of questions they asked and everything they asked including personal information. We have not claimed insurance from home or vehicle in our life for the past 15 years. Very good credit. This office gives us a printed sheet with information on the home. With all the details, hence they had all the details. When we called few days before the closing, now we are told the home had previous water damage claims that we are not able to purchase insurance and disconnected the line. 1. After giving all the details how are you saying now that we are not able to get insurance. Remember we have a printed sheet, with our names, address and everything indicating that we can have insurance. 2. How do you not know all these before you email out a quotation AFTER asking all the painful details (age of the home, address, fireplace, smoking, pool, yard etc). Very disappointed of the service and the lack of honesty. I guess they just wanted the customer's call but did not care whether they need the insurance or not. I have complained with AllState of the lack of professionalism and dishonesty. Why would you email a claim and later when you are finalizing tell the customer that the home is uninsurable. My advise for yall is do not call them for a quote. You will get the run around, they do not do all the research, they are lazy. And they are so picky. New owners get's penalized for previous owners actions. And why do you have insurance or pay for insurance if you can't claim.
